FALL FOR ME by K.A. Last

For those who enjoyed Hush, Hush!
...

BLURB:

“Angels aren’t supposed to fall in love, especially with each other. But for the record, you were worth it.”

Grace Tate is a Protection Angel and Vampire Hunter, and she has always followed the rules. But some rules are made to be broken…

Until now the fight against evil has been simple, and falling in love was never part of the plan. So what happens when it’s beyond Grace’s control, and when she least expects it she falls for the wrong person?

All hell breaks loose, that’s what.

At Hopetown Valley High, not everything is as it seems, and the one person Grace thought was her enemy becomes her most important ally.

Blood will be shed, lives will be lost and friendships will be tested. It all comes down to one decision, and when Grace tries to save all those dear to her, she realises not everyone can be—or wants to be—saved.

REVIEW:

I am steadily trying to figure out how anyone could give this book anything less than 5 stars. You'd have to be missing half your damn mind not to love it! But I digress.

K.A. LAST made me cry, she made me laugh, and she made me fall in love with more than one character at a time. I finished reading FALL FOR ME mere seconds ago and I knew I couldn't bear to wait another minute. I had to write this review NOW.

FALL FOR ME is elegantly beautiful and wicked -- it rises above the angel/vampire stereotypes and it takes you somewhere unearthly. K.A. LAST stunned me with her passionate writing and her characters -- Grace, Archer, Seth and Josh in particular -- keep you enraptured as the pages turn. I admired her POV transitions, her way of letting the story unfold, and the easy way she made writing in general seem so effortless.

As an author and blogger I've had times where I must step out of my element and try something new. In those times I've discovered my love for trying new things and the authors who have really stuck to me as GOOD READS. H.M. Ward has been one of my favorites for a very long time and so has Alivia Anders and Ally Carter. I wasn't disappointed with Last's work here in FALL FOR ME in the slightest. I will be recommending this to all my friends and book sisters! I need this on my shelves!

FALL FOR ME has made my favorite list.

Lucy opens her eyes to a world she never imagined possible and a new destiny: as a Patronus, a guardian of spirits. Adjusting to her new role and abilities while negotiating this confusing realm will test her limits and push her further than she ever dreamed she would go. From wayward spirits who don’t want her help to soul stealing vampires, and even a stuck-up
British royal, Lucy must brave them all to save one spirit she can’t bear
to lose. Further complicating her confusing life is an inexplicable yet growing connection she feels to a member of her team, Max, whose mysterious behavior leaves her both confused and intrigued. Waking up dead was just the beginning of her problems. Lucy’s death is about to become the greatest adventure of her life.
